Art critic, author, and columnist Jerry Saltz will be at Georgia Southern University’s Armstrong Campus Thursday, November 9, as the Mark Finlay Memorial Lecture Series speaker. Jerry’s 60-min lecture, The Art World Problem, will start at 6 p.m. at the Fine Arts Theatre followed by a 15-min Q&A.

GMCS Collecting Art: The Work of Ulysses Davis

Gari Melchers Collectors' Society (GMCS) members will have the opportunity to join in on a fascinating conversation about collecting the work of Savannah artist Ulysses Davis (1914–1990), whose fantastical wood sculptures are the subject of Telfair’s current exhibition Created Beasts: Sculpture by Ulysses Davis.
