  Telfair Museums’ PULSE Art + Technology Festival enters its 12th year with a heady blend of immersive art experiences, lectures, family programs, music, and more. PULSE: Metropolis-Synthesis

After taking on classics like Beowulf and the Odyssey, Atlanta-based artists Alessandro Imperato and David Spencer are back to perform a re-interpretation of a modern classic—Fritz Lang’s 1927 silent film masterpiece Metropolis. Using a public domain version of the film, Imperato will employ an analog video synthesizer and digital tools he has developed to remix the film with live visual effects.
