Group Tours
Telfair Museums is pleased to offer visitors to Savannah group tours at special rates. Please see below for more information and contact grouptours@telfair.org if you have any questions.
Self-Guided Group Tours
Groups can independently browse the permanent collection and special exhibitions at the Jepson Center and Telfair Academy at their own pace. For your convenience, we offer suggested itineraries for visitors interested in art, history, and those who are visiting with families. Please note that group tours at the Owens-Thomas House & Slave Quarters are limited and require advance reservations.
Guided Group Tours
Groups can learn about Telfair Museums’ permanent collection or special exhibitions at the Telfair Academy and/or Jepson Center with tours led by docents, volunteer museum guides trained to enhance the educational experience of our visitors. Patrons will be encouraged to look closely, think creatively, develop personal interpretations, and share in group discussion. Reservations are required 3 weeks in advance. Group rate is available for 10+ visitors.
Guided tours of the Owens-Thomas House & Slave Quarters are led by Interpreters and are limited to number of visitors per group and time of day offered. Please fill out the group reservation form 4 weeks in advance to check for availability and options at this site. Group rate is available for 10+ visitors.

- Owens Thomas House & Slave Quarters:
- Groups of 10-26: 9am or 4:15 pm
- Groups of 27-40: 8:30am only
- All Sites Closed: MLK Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day
- Blackout dates are subject to change.

Minimum group size: 10
Maximum group size: 50
- Telfair Academy or Jepson Center: $14 per person
- Telfair Academy & Jepson Center: $22 per person
- Owens-Thomas House & Slave Quarters: $24 per person, by reservation only, limited availability. Please call or email for details. *Note: Group size at the OTH&SQ is capped at 40
- 3-Site Group Pass: $24 per person, by reservation only, limited availability. Please call or email for details.
Curator-Led Tours
By reservation only, limited availability. Please call or email for details.
- Telfair Academy, Jepson Center or OTH&SQ: $30 per person
- Telfair Academy & Jepson Center: $45 per person
- 3-Site Group Pass: $65 per person
All Guided Tours should be booked 3-4 weeks before visiting. Blackout dates may apply.
Special Group Perks
We offer complimentary admission to each escort per group and group tour planner with a group. We offer a 10% discount in our Museum Store on the day of your tour (excludes sale and consignment items).
Restrictions on tour availability and visitor min/max count apply at all sites. Please contact us about your specific group needs. All rates are inclusive pricing.
$50 deposit required at time of reservation, or payment in full. Final count and final payment due one week before the scheduled tour. Cancellations up to 48 hours before the scheduled tour will be refunded.
Accessibility
- The Telfair Academy and Jepson Center for the Arts are fully accessible to all visitors.
- All tours can be adapted to accommodate your group.
- When making reservations, please notify us if your group has special needs.
- With advance notice, we can provide a sign interpreter for the hearing-impaired.
- Sign interpreters are also provided for various Telfair education lectures.
