Curators’ Choice
April 30, 2021 to March 20, 2022 Jepson CenterThe exhibition Curators’ Choice based on the exciting, new publication Telfair Museums: Curators’ Choice (2021), is an opportunity to celebrate key pieces from the museum’s varied collection. These selected objects—such as the striking sugar basket created by the English female silversmith, Hester Bateman, or Frederick Carl Frieseke’s riotously colorful painting, The Garden Umbrella—shed light on the museum’s unique history and collecting practices.
