Telfair once again will participate in the annual Super Museum Sunday in association with the Georgia History Festival. Enjoy the newly opened Walter & Linda Evans Gallery of African American Art and other exhibitions at the Telfair Academy, take in the splendor of the Jepson Center, and step through history at the Owens-Thomas House & Slave Quarters.

 

Family activities will be offered at the Telfair Academy.

In 2023, Dr. Walter and Linda Evans donated a transformational gift of 28 significant works by African American artists to Telfair Museums. The museum is proud to organize an exciting new installation in the former dining room at the Telfair Academy that centers on this collection.
