Daniel Rozin - Trash Mirror No 3 - 300Celebrating 10 years of innovative and amazing technology-based art in Savannah! PULSE lets you become part of the art with interactive exhibitions, artist talks, performances, and more. Find yourself in the pages of a comic book, animate digital paintings with your facial expressions, and use your smartphone to read music written on the museum’s walls. Back by popular demand, the 2nd Annual Savannah International GIF Festival showcases the best digital animations set to live music by local performers. Friday night features an in-person appearance by acclaimed artist Daniel Rozin, plus a brand new performance by the Medeology Collective. PULSE Free Family Day shares interactive art for all ages, plus artist demonstrations and projects by local students that combine art and tech. A rising star in art and music, recording artist Helado Negro (Roberto Lange) headlines Saturday evening with a concert of original music accompanied by costumed dancers. The festival closes with a new twist on an enduring classic as artists Alessandro Imperato and David Spencer turn Beowulf into a multimedia extravaganza.

Daytime admission to PULSE is free and open to the public, sponsored by the City of Savannah Department of Cultural Affairs, Hargray Communications, Embassy Suites by Hilton, and Connect Savannah.

Purchase a PULSE Pass for exclusive access to all evening lectures and performances. (Arrive early; auditorium seating is first-come, first-served.)
