Join Katherine Sandoz (American, B. 1969) as she talks about her installation on display in the Jepson Center’s atrium. Operating as a sculptural “mobile” (and also including a site-specific painting on the third-floor landing) the work comprises individual, colorful acrylic glass elements referencing the katniss plant. Hanging in layered format from the glass ceiling of the Jepson Center, katniss will offer dynamic plays with reflected light.
