We’ll meet at 10:30 at Kingsley which is Northeast of Jacksonville, for a guided tour of the cabins and examination of artifacts that have been found at the site. Then, we’ll go to the Cummer in Downtown Jacksonville where we will enjoy lunch and a guided tour of the Meissen Collection. It contains more than 700 pieces and is considered one of the three finest collections in the world and the finest in the U.S. There will be time afterward to explore the rest of the museum and its lovely gardens which have recently been restored from serious damage due to Hurricane Irma.
This trip is for FOT members only, and space is limited. Cost is $50 per person which includes lunch and tours. Transportation is on your own, and you are free to set your own schedule to return to Savannah or stay overnight and see more of Jacksonville.
