FAAA members are invited to a members group visit to the Fine Arts Department at historic Savannah State University.

We plan to see graduating seniors including painters, sculptors, and musicians present their theses and complete their art studies. In addition, we anticipate having a round table talk in the art gallery with some of the students. Members are required to RSVP for this event. Please respond to delormeh@telfair.org if you plan to attend, and for more information and directions.

Friends of African American Arts, or FAAA, is a member group of people across genders, ethnicities, and ages brought together by their appreciation of the artistic and cultural contributions of African Americans. Art can be instrumental in shaping the tone and nature of intercultural relations. FAAA has a diverse membership, which enjoys social and cultural activities that allow participants to expand their personal networks while experiencing the remarkable cultural landscape the Southeast has to offer. By participating in FAAA events, you are adding value to your Telfair Museums experience.
