40th Annual Telfair Ball
February 29, 2020 at 6pm Bethesda Academy- This event has passed.
Thank you to all sponsors, guests, donors, and volunteers who made the 40th Annual Telfair Ball a rousing success!
The 40th Annual Telfair Ball under the live oaks of Bethesda Academy will be a feast for the senses in truly decadent New Orleans Carnival style. Join the court and “pass a good time” with friends old and new. Spanish moss drips from grand live oaks along the flambeaux-lined path to merriment and revelry. A shimmering sky creates a canopy forcompanions in bejeweled finery. Culinary delights dance on the tongue and artisan cocktails are imbibed. The sweet Southern February night air swells with the sounds of delightful conversation and rhythmic Creole chords, beckoning you to the Fais do-do.
Now entering our fourth decade, fellow community members and corporate partners continue to join Telfair Museums in support of the Telfair Ball. The gala event is both Savannah’s most coveted invitation and the museum’s most significant fundraiser. All proceeds directly fund educational outreach, exhibitions, and related activities, making over 220,000 people the benefactors of art each year.
