Share Your Creativity with Telfair Museums
Telfair Museums invites our community to submit original designs for consideration in a new collection of Telfair-inspired merchandise. This is an opportunity to share your creativity with thousands of Museum visitors while helping create products inspired by one of Savannah’s leading cultural institutions.
This initiative reflects Telfair Museums’ commitment to celebrating creativity and showcasing the ideas and talents of our community while expanding the Museum Store with merchandise inspired by our collections, history, and mission.

No. Participants under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian submit the application.
No. We welcome submissions from anyone with a creative idea, regardless of artistic background or experience.
Submit an email proposal to membership@telfair.org by 11:59pm on Tuesday, September 4, 2026, with the subject line “Telfair- Merchandise.” Late and/or incomplete entries will not be considered.
Yes, you may include up to five designs in one submission.
Selected proposals will be reviewed and chosen by the committee of Telfair Museum Staff. Submissions will be evaluated based on:
- Originality and creativity
- Artistic quality
- Compatibility with Telfair Museums brand
- Suitability for retail merchandise
- Overall strength of the proposal
There is no application fee.

Intellectual Property
Artists retain ownership and copyright of all submitted artwork. Submission of a proposal does not transfer ownership to Telfair Museums. Artists selected for production will enter into a separate licensing or purchase agreement outlining rights, compensation, and usage.
Original Work
By submitting a proposal, applicants certify that all submitted artwork is their original work and does not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights of any third party.
Review and Promotional Use
Applicants grant Telfair Museums permission to use submitted materials for review by the selection committee and for promotional purposes related to this, including announcing selected artists.
Selection Process
Telfair Museums reserves the right not to select any proposal if submissions do not meet the project’s objectives or quality standards.
Final Agreement
Selection does not constitute a binding agreement. Final participation is contingent upon execution of a separate written agreement between the artist and Telfair Museums.
