Frederick Carl Frieseke: The Evolution of an American Impressionist
Created to accompany the major retrospective organized by the Telfair Museum
of Art, this 38-minute film presents an intimate portrait of Frieseke's life
and work. Produced and directed by award-winning filmmakers Kevin McCarey
and Fran McCarey, the documentary was shot on location in Paris, Giverny,
and Normandy. Notable features are appearances by Frieseke's grandson Nicholas
Kilmer and rare footage of the artist's daughter Frances.
