2.  ENJOY THE BEAUTY OF SAVANNAH – You will be pampered with a 2 night stay at the Inn at Ellis Square valued at $450.  In addition, 17 Hundred 90 Inn & Restaurant will be hosting you for a 3 course meal for 2 people valued at $100.  The next night you can use your $50 gift certificate for a delicious meal at Garibaldi Restaurant. Value:  $600

56. BOB HARMAN, SR. – This beautiful original watercolor was created by local artist, Bob Harman, Sr.  This painting is a very traditional and famous style of horse painting that is strictly Chinese.  Mr. Harman found it fascinating that the Chinese artists used only one stroke to paint an entire part of the horse which is an honored animal by the Chinese and a symbol of persistence, swiftness and intelligence. Value: $1200

57. GAIL WICKSTROM – Gail has captured the magic of Ossabaw Island in this beautiful oil painting. Value: $150

58. LOCAL COLOR – This matted, signed/numbered limited edition Giclee print on fine art papers done by Becky Frame is entitled “Fire in the Sky” (includes $25 toward custom framing). Value: $100

59. MARY ELLEN FOX – The feeling is there in this acrylic painting by Mary Ellen Fox entitled “Some Day You Will Fly”. Value:  $75

 

60. IN THE PAST – This original oil painting donated by Sally Hammond entitled “Summertime ‘57’ ” brings back fond memories. Value:  $350

 

61. TOUCANS  – This numbered Toucan print by Karl Zerbe was donated by Dr. Frank Davis.  Zerbe was a German born American painter.  He taught at Florida State University in the 1950s and became involved in the development of the Lemoyne Art Center and Foundation. It was for this organization that he made this silk screen print.  He had a penchant for painting Toucans and this print, one of his latest works is signed and numbered.  Zerbe died in Tallahassee in November 1972. Value: $1200

62. FRED LANGLEY – This 11 x 14 photograph entitled “A Storm Coming” is a reminder of the weather in Savannah.  Fred has a way of capturing the priceless beauty of our dramatic, ever-changing area. Value: $195

68. THE COTTAGE SHOP, BEVERLY REYNOLDS – The Cottage Shop has donated this wonderful set of three ceramic canisters painted with a lovebird motif. They are off-white, trimmed with cornflower blue and accents in green & yellow.  This set is sure to cheer up any kitchen counter. Value: $85

69. SPORTS ENTHUSIASTS – Bobby Thompson is a familiar name to baseball fans “Shout Heard Around the World”.  Willie Hughes has donated this framed and autographed “1951 New York Giant” baseball jersey. Value: $500
