Barbeque at Pojo Point (Value $1,500; donated by Charles Ellis)
What do alligator skulls, enormous sharks’ teeth, 1,000 glass bottles from the Savannah River, and a 1930 Model A Ford all have in common? They all happily coexist at Pojo Point, the wonderfully eclectic home of Charles Ellis. Ellis has filled his yard and home — he cottage his parents built on the property in 1950 — wiwth all manner of art and curiosities. In an atmosphere like this, no ties are allowe! Kick back and enjoy an afternoon of barbeque with all the fixin’s for 30 guests while you take in teh breathtaking vistas and investigate the many unique treasures on this delightful corner of Turner’s Rock. Ice-cold beer and wine are included. All you need to do is bring the guests! Please call at least two weeks in advance to arrange your party. Use by February 2013.
Week at Highlands (Value $3,400; donated by Charlotte and Finley Merry)
“Boxwoods” is a stunning private home located in Highlands, NC. With 5 bedrooms and 6 ½ baths in the main house and an additional bedroom and bathroom in the guest cottage, the home can accommodate an extended family. The home recently underwent a total renovation, so although the dÃ©cor is “sophisticated rustic” – with antique beams, barn board, shakes and stone – the layout and appliances are state-of-the-art. Tempted though you may be to spend your week relaxing on the porch, do plan to venture out. “Boxwoods” is located in Highlands Country Club, and you will have access to the Club’s swimming, golf and tennis facilities during your stay. Whether you want to escape from the heat of the coastal summer or enjoy some spectacular fall foliage, “Boxwoods” will be the perfect retreat.

Valentine’s Day may just have passed, but here’s a piece of jewelry sure to win her heart – a spectacular double strand of pearls! The necklace contains a total of 116 cultured Akoya white pearls, with one strand 7-inch strand containing 56 pearls; the other 7.5-inch strand containing 60.
