Artful Afternoons
In this summer afternoon program at the Telfair, students will gain an appreciation for fine art through creative visual and hands-on experiences. Participants will tour the exhibitions on view at the Telfair, studying the work of exhibiting artists such as Jerome Meadows. Every afternoon, campers will head to the education studios to discover a new artistic technique based on their gallery visits. Each camp culminates with an exciting student art exhibition — featuring work produced during the week-long program — and a reception in the nationally recognized Jepson Center for the Arts.
