Elemental: Paintings by Luther Vann
Telfair's Jepson Center for the Arts
Paintings by highly regarded local African American painter Luther Vann, whose work is held in the Telfair’s permanent collection, will be on view at the Lewis Southern Art Gallery. Vann utilizes thick, vigorous brushstrokes and dazzlingly bright color to create compositions noteworthy for technical finesse, deeply-felt subject matter, and spiritual overtones.
