WHAT IF I DO NOT HAVE AN IMAGE OF MY BOOTH?

Booth images are important because they give the jury a sense of how your work displays, the quality of your setup, and the size of your work. However, the jury will not give you a lower score if you are unable to provide an image of your booth. If you do not have an image of your booth setup, please submit an additional image of your artwork.

CAN I APPLY IN MULTIPLE CATEGORIES?

Artists are allowed to apply in multiple categories; however, work submitted should be substantially different in medium and technique. To be considered for acceptance in more than one medium, artists must submit separate sets of images and pay the application fee ($35) for each category entered. Artists accepted in multiple categories are required to pay only one booth fee. Each applicant may apply only once for a given category.

HOW WILL MY APPLICATION BE SCREENED?

Images of works submitted will be projected on a large screen before a jury of art professionals, who will review and score each entry. Scores are tallied and a cutoff score is determined. Artists will be juried within their selected categories.

CAN I COLLABORATE WITH ANOTHER ARTIST?

If two artists collaborate on a single work in one category, the submission is considered one entry. Collaborating artists must complete one application, pay one application fee, and send one set of images. If accepted, one booth space will be provided.

WHAT ARE THE FEES IF I AM ACCEPTED?

Booth fees are $125 for a 10’ x 10’ booth and $300 for a 10’ x 20’ booth (limited number available) and include electricity. To reserve space in the 2008 Art Fair, participating artists much submit booth fees to the museum no later than August 15, 2008 (fee receipt deadline).  The Telfair will charge a 30% commission on all Art Fair sales. A check representing 70% of each exhibitor’s sales will be mailed to the artist by November 30, 2008.

DO I PROVIDE MY OWN BOOTH?
